Arlene de Silva

Arlene de Silva is a photographer, writer, musician and professional in the field of aging. She was born in Sri Lanka and moved to the United States in the late 1970s.

In 2003, she combined her passion for portraiture with her quest to honor older adults and created the exhibit, Faces in Aging. This remarkable tribute to seniors throughout the world has been viewed by thousands of people in multiple cities across the United States.

The exhibit and this book will be showcased in London at the International Association of Homes and Services for the Ageing, in Summer 2009.
